The basic objective of the traffic dashboard is monitoring the website traffic; traffic dashboard is result of an integration of Google Analytics and NoPaperForms. We can monitor the data basis Geographical analysis (Top countries, Top States, Top Cities); Other Analysis such as pages which attracted most traffic, devices with most traffic not just that it also shows how many active users are there currently on the website. With that, monitoring and keeping a track is simple and easy because you no more have to explore or use a complex tool to know your numbers.
The objective
- Easing access to the website traffic and other metrics without having to switch between Google Analytics and NoPaperForms.
- Allow having deep insight on multiple metrics.
- Give room for optimizing across devices, pages, etc.
Setting up Traffic Dashboard
Step 1: Dashboard > Traffic Dashboard
Step 2: Put in the login details
And you are good to go.
What other terms means?
An account is your access point for Analytics.
Property is a website, mobile application, or blog, etc., that is associated with a unique tracking ID.
A view is a set of specifications for tracking traffic on a single domain.
Before getting into more details we need to know some of the basic terms related to Traffic Dashboard
Users: Users represent individuals that visit your site.
Sessions: Sessions represent a single visit to your website. Whether a User lands on one of your web pages and leaves a few seconds later, or spends an hour reading every blog post on your site, it still counts as a single Session.
Now, we will talk about Trends, Geographical and Other Analysis
Trends: Trends basically sums up the details about the users on your website. As the different heading gives you varied insights.
Current traffic on your website and the device by which they are active.
Traffic dashboard fetches the data after every 30 seconds and gets in sync with the data present on Google Analytics
This Week vs Last Week (By Session): Shows the day wise comparison between current week and last week in terms of session.
This Year vs Last Year (By Users): Shows the month wise comparison between current year and last year in terms of users.
Day Wise Session Trend: Shows the total number of sessions in the specified date.
You can filter out the data by using the calendar on the right side of the Day Wise Session Trend
The date you would choose will turn blue in color.
After choosing the date click on “Apply” or if you want to choose another date click on “Reset”.

Now we will discuss about the Geographical part of the data.
Geographical: This represents the data basis the geographical areas.
Before getting into it, the glossary.
Users: Users are visitors who have initiated one session with your website or app within a specified period of time
New users: New users are users who have never been to your website, according to Google's tracking snippet; returning users have visited your site before.
Bounce Rate: A “bounce” occurs when someone visits your website and leaves without interacting further with your site
For instance: The visitor visits your website and leaves from the same page without going anywhere else on the site.
Bounce rate: Bounce rate is single-page sessions divided by all sessions, or the percentage of all sessions on your site in which users viewed only a single page and triggered only a single request to the Analytics server.
Top Countries: Shows the data of the countries from which the sessions are originated in the selected date.
Top States: Shows the data of the states from which the sessions are originated in the selected date.
Top Cities: Shows the data of the cities from which the sessions are originated in the selected date.
Note: The states, and cities are irrespective of any country. That is, the city can be any city across globe and for that matter the state.

Now we will discuss about “Other Analysis”, before that the glossary.
Pageviews: Pageviews are defined as the total number of times the piece of content was viewed during a given period of time.
Unique Pageviews: Unique pageviews represent an aggregate of pageviews generated by the same user during the same session (i.e. the number of sessions during which that page was viewed one or more times).
Entrances: Entrance for each page is that a user begins a new session on The number of entrances given for a specific page shows how many users began their session with that page.
In this example, a user enters a website and navigates to two pages:
Enter → Page A → Page B → Exit
You would see the following data for each page:
Page A: 1 Entrance, 1 Session, 1 Pageview
Page B: 0 Entrances, 0 Sessions, 1 Pageview
Exit Page: Refers to the last page a user accesses before their session ends or they leave the site.
Exit Rate: Exit Rate is the percentage of visitors to a page on the website from which they exit the website to a different website.
The page’s exit rate indicates how often visitors exit from it after visiting any number of pages on the site; as a percentage, exit rate is calculated as the number of exits / numbers of pageviews for the specified page.
Other Analysis: Shows the other data that is considered for analysis.
Top Device Category: Top Device Category Shows the top number of sessions from different type of device.
You can change the date range as well.
Top Pages: Top Pages shows the pages visited. We present the URL which follows the main domain.
For instance: www.nopaperforms.com/leadmanager, we will capture /lead manager that followed the main domain which in this case is www.nopaperforms.com.
New vs Returning Users
New User: The user that has come for the first time.
Returning User: The user that has visited the website at least once.
