Whats is SMS Communication Stats dashlet
SMS Communication Statistic shows the overall picture of the SMSes performance basis the activity and engagement channel in a single view.
How to access the Dashlet.
Navigate to Dashboard > Admin Dashboard
Click on “Add Dashlet” just beside the “Edit Layout.
A box named “Add Dashlet” will open
And click on “Save view”
The Dashlet looks something like this.

SMS Statistic contains two buttons named “Activity” and “Engagement” on the left side.
- Activity represents the system generated email that are sent on the basis of lead activity. ex- OTP, Payment confirmation,etc.
- Engagement represents the email that are sent manually or by automation for marketing purpose
The bifurcation basis the SMS that have been triggered.
The total SMS Sent and against it the status of the SMS, that is number and percentage of SMS that had been
Delivered – Out of the SMS that has been Sent, the percentage/number of SMS that have been delivered successfully.
Clicked - Out of the SMS that have been delivered, the percentage/number of SMS that are clicked.
DND - Out of the SMS that have been sent, the percentage/number of SMS that goes into DND.
Absent Subscriber - Out of the SMS that have been sent, the percentage/number of SMS that have a status of Absent Subscriber.
Invalid Subscriber - Out of the SMS that have been sent, the percentage/number of SMS that have a status of Invalid Subscriber.
Message Inbox Full - Out of the SMS that have been sent, the percentage/number of SMS that have a Message Inbox Full status.
Others - Out of the SMS that have been sent, the percentage/number of SMS that have a “Other” as a status.
Glossary – SMS Status
Delivered: The receiving server has accepted the message.
Clicked: Measure how many people clicked through your short links, attachments, mobile pages and surveys. Monitor response rates in real-time to continuously improve your campaigns and follow through.
DND: DND stands for “Do Not Disturb”. As per TRAI regulations, if a person registers his or her number in DND then they will not receive any kind of promotional or marketing SMS/calls.
Note: In the promotional route SMS can only be sent to non DND numbers within the time frame of 9 AM to 9 PM only.
You can send non promotional SMS to both DND and non DND numbers using the transactional route. (Subjected to certain T&C)
Absent Subscriber: Subscriber cannot be reached at the time of broadcast or unknown subscriber or User's mobile number not reachable or out of network coverage area or switched off for that matter.
Reasons:
- Poor network coverage
- Roaming restriction/restricted area
Invalid Subscriber: Sometimes a misspelled name given for the patient can cause this error.
Message Inbox Full: The error may appear if your inbox file has exceeded the memory size limit or the folder Inbox is full, and can't hold any more messages.
Others:
- Barring Service activated by the end customer / Operator
- Network error at the far end operator
- Message is rejected because there is no directory number for the mobile subscriber or service is temporarily not available for the subscriber from the end carrier
- System failure due to Unknown subscriber

To have a more thoroughgoing view, you can select the “Date Range” between which the traffic has come in.
NOTE: After you select the date range, the date range will turn blue in color.
Click on “Apply”.
NOTE: You can also download the data.
In order to download, click on the “Down Arrow” just beside the date range.
Once you click on the “Down Arrow”, a drop down named “CSV” will show.
Click on “CSV”, a CSV file will download.
NOTE: The CSV file will contain the Status (i.e., Sent, Delivered, Clicked etc.) and the total SMS statistics along with the month wise bifurcation.
