We have identified a few scenarios which are important from an In-App Call Logging and Caller ID perspective.
Prerequisite
- NoPaperForms Mobile App must be of version 4.0.0 or above.
Problem with In App Call Logging feature? We encourage you to take the below steps:
- Check if the user is using the latest version of the NoPaperForms application.
- Check if all app permissions are enabled.
- Check if user-level permissions are enabled.
- Make sure the user doesn’t use any other calling app (like ACR, Truecaller, etc.) as they conflict and don't allow the NPF app to log the calls properly.
- Disable Battery Optimisation for NoPaperForms App. Since, the android operating system can put the calling feature into a deactivated state which impacts the Caller ID (pop up) that may not appear on the device screen, to reduce battery consumption.
The problem can be resolved by changing Battery Optimisation related settings in the phone.
Device Specific Optimisations and Settings:
For Xiaomi Devices
For Caller ID (Popup)
- Go to Permissions (or Security) > Auto-start > Enable NoPaperForms App
- Tap on NoPaperForms > Advanced > Display over other apps > Enable
- Go to Notifications > Manage Notifications > NoPaperForms > Show Floating Notifications
Some other Alternative solution:
- Phone settings
- Permissions (or Security)
- NoPaperForms App
- Allow all permissions.
- After that, go to additional settings > battery > manage apps battery usage, by default its "standard" make sure to choose "No Restrictions".
For Samsung Devices
Samsung devices have a Smart Manager feature that helps manage battery usage. If enabled for NoPaperForms, it could result in disabling the Caller ID (pop up). Follow the below-mentioned steps to disable the battery optimisation feature:
